ShowMate is a service platform that connects licensed real estate professionals for showing assistance, inspection attendance, and related support services.
By using ShowMate, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Platform-Only Role
ShowMate acts solely as a coordination and connection platform between users and independent service providers.
ShowMate does not act as a broker, legal advisor, inspector, contractor, or fiduciary in any transaction unless expressly stated.
2. Independent Contractors
All ShowMate service providers operate as independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of ShowMate.
ShowMate is not responsible for the acts, omissions, conduct, negligence, or performance of independent providers.
3. No Guarantee of Results
ShowMate does not guarantee:

Property sale outcomes
-
Client decisions
-
Inspection outcomes
-
Transaction success
-
Property condition
-
Provider availability
Services are provided on an as-available basis.
4. Property Access Risk
Users acknowledge that real estate showings and inspections involve physical property access and inherent risks.
ShowMate is not responsible for:

Property conditions
-
Injuries on-site
-
Safety hazards
-
Unauthorized property conditions
-
Third-party actions
5. Inspection Limitations
ShowMate providers attending inspections are present for support and observation purposes only unless otherwise authorized.
ShowMate does not provide inspection opinions, repair advice, engineering advice, or legal interpretations.
6. Client Interaction Responsibility
The booking agent remains solely responsible for their client relationship, client advice, disclosures, negotiations, and transaction decisions.
ShowMate does not assume agency responsibility for the booking agent’s client.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

Use of the platform

Missed appointments

Scheduling conflicts

Provider conduct

Property access issues

Inspection-related issues

Transaction disputes
8. Maximum Liability Cap
In any event, ShowMate’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific booked service giving rise to the claim
9. User Assumption of Risk
Users voluntarily assume all risks associated with use of the platform and related services.
10. Legal Compliance
Users and providers are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws, including real estate licensing laws and brokerage requirements.
