ShowMate is a service platform that connects licensed real estate professionals seeking showing support (“Requesting Agents”) with licensed real estate professionals willing to perform showing-related services (“Showing Agents”).

Services may include:

  • Scheduled property showings

  • Same-day showing assistance

  • Inspection attendance

  • Property walkthroughs

  • Reporting and video add-ons

ShowMate acts solely as a platform for coordinating these services.

2. Eligibility

To use ShowMate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be legally able to enter into binding agreements

  • Provide accurate and current information

  • Hold an active real estate license if acting as a Showing Agent

​

ShowMate reserves the right to verify user eligibility

3. User Accounts

Users may be required to create an account.

Users agree to:

​

  • Maintain accurate account information

  • Keep login credentials secure

  • Accept responsibility for account activity

​

ShowMate is not responsible for unauthorized account access.

4. Booking and Service Requests

Requesting Agents are responsible for:

​

  • Providing accurate booking details

  • Providing access instructions

  • Ensuring all necessary permissions are in place

​

ShowMate does not guarantee provider availability.

​

Bookings are subject to provider acceptance and scheduling availability.

5. Payments

By booking services, users agree to pay all applicable fees

  • Fees are due at booking unless otherwise stated

  • Additional charges may apply for urgent or special services

  • Completed services are generally non-refundable except where required by law

ShowMate reserves the right to modify pricing.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are governed by the ShowMate Showing Service Policy.

 

Refund eligibility may depend on timing and service status.

 

Late cancellations may incur fees.

7. Independent Contractor Relationship

Showing Agents are independent contractors

They are not employees, partners, joint venturers, or agents of ShowMate.

 

ShowMate does not supervise or control independent contractors’ professional judgment.

8. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

​

  • Provide false information 

  • Misrepresent licensing status

  • Violate brokerage policies

  • Violate MLS rules 

  • Harass clients or agents

  • Damage property

  • Engage in unlawful conduct

​

Violation may result in suspension or termination

9. Licensing Compliance

Users are solely responsible for complying with:

​

  • Real estate licensing laws 

  • Brokerage requirements

  • MLS regulations

  • State and local laws

​

ShowMate does not provide legal or brokerage compliance advice.

10. Confidentiality

Users agree to maintain confidentiality regarding:

​

  • Client information

  • Property information

  • Appointment details

  • Business information​

​

Confidential information may only be used for service fulfillment.

11. Ratings and Reviews

Users may be subject to ratings or reviews.

​

ShowMate may use these reviews to evaluate continued platform participation.

​

We reserve the right to remove users based on performance concerns.

12. Intellectual Property

All ShowMate branding, logos, content, and materials are the property of ShowMate.

Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without permission.

13. Third-Party Services

ShowMate may use third-party providers for payments, communications, and related services.

 

We are not responsible for third-party systems or service interruptions.

14. Disclaimers

Use of ShowMate is subject to our:

  • Missed appointments

  • Client decisions

  • Provider actions

16. Indemnification

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ShowMate from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • User misconduct

17. Termination

ShowMate may suspend or terminate access at any time for:

  • Policy violations

  • MisconductFraud

  • Legal concerns

Termination does not remove payment obligations already incurred.

Continued use constitutes acceptance.
